Here we are again on a Friday waiting to see what the weather will do. Last weekend God blessed us by letting us come to worship and to all of the other activities without having to be concerned about the weather too much. The weekend before was a much different story! As I write this, just before 10:00 on Friday morning, some of us are wondering whether we will be taking the bus to Abbeville to show our love and support to Tom and Nancy after Nancy’s dad passed away. It looks like the weather is a threat! Now, for Sunday, there’s another question. We have a wedding scheduled after the 11:00 service, and a church-wide lunch after that, and some very important committee meetings after that! It’s hard to know how to plan. Watch this space and unless we have a power problem or internet problem I’ll try to keep you updated as to what we’re planning for Sunday.
