Wednesday nights have always had an interesting dymanic in our family. In almost all congregations we’ve served, Wednesday night has meant choir practice. Anna really enjoys singing in the choir, and I enjoy every opportunity I can have to hang around the members of the congregation and listen to what’s on your minds. Some Sundays are so busy that I don’t even get to the choir room in time to pray before the worship service, and I certainly don’t get a chance (more…)
I know that I promised to try to update this blog during the week we were gone, but I overestimated the amount of discretionary time I would have. It’s Friday night before we leave for Baldwin LA and the Sager Brown Mission Depot. The bags are packed, and we’ve done all that we can do before leaving. A team of 13 of us from Trinity are going to go and work in the depot. If you watch this space, we’ll send updates during our trip. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel and as we represent Trinity and seek to help share the love of Christ through missions.
